How it behaves in a house
The motorised door is easy to live with if you open the cabinet more than once a week. Programme a code you will remember, keep the override key somewhere that is not inside the cabinet, and change the batteries when the lock warns you — or when the clocks change, if you prefer a habit.
Because many versions in this band carry no independently tested fire duration, treat it as a lockable box rather than a document chest. If certificates and a will are the main reason for buying, look at the Securikey or Sentry notes instead.
